In a surprising crossover event that defies usual predictions, the game developer has unveiled an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "A strange meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of banned rituals and fearsome transformations echo through the shadows." The plot presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine group.

The adventure centers on "bizarre tests and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Metamorphoses

The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Content

Players who accomplish the quest will acquire an exclusive katana together with several items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
